This one-step universal TUNEL apoptosis kit provides a rapid and sensitive method for detecting apoptotic cells in a variety of sample types. The kit utilizes terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase to catalyze the incorporation of fluorescently labeled dUTP onto the exposed 3'-OH ends of fragmented genomic DNA, a hallmark of apoptosis.
