High-Performance Low-Temperature Steel Valve Castings

In low-temperature fluid control systems, LCB (ASTM A352 Grade LCB) low-temperature carbon steel castings, with their all-round safety guarantee characteristics, have become the trusted choice in the industry. From the perspective of the intrinsic safety of the material, its low-carbon design of ≤0.20% and nickel element strengthening of 0.20-0.50% enable the material to maintain an impact toughness of over 27J even in an extremely cold environment of -46℃, which is 1.7 times higher than that of ordinary carbon steel (10J). This eliminates the risk of low-temperature brittleness from the root and avoids medium leakage accidents caused by valve body breakage. In terms of structural safety, the LCB castings adopt an integral casting process, and the valve body has no splicing welds, reducing stress concentration points. Non-destructive testing (UT/MT) has been carried out to ensure no internal defects exceed the standard. The pressure resistance strength is more than 1.5 times the desig…
