LEABE High-Current Rectifier Transformer Product Overview The LEABE High-Current Rectifier Transformer is a specialized power conversion unit engineered to deliver stable, low-ripple, high-current DC power for heavy industrial processes such as electrolysis, electrometallurgy, and large motor starting systems. While inheriting the proven engineering of our QOSC epoxy-insulated series, this LEABE Transformer is optimized for applications where current levels reach tens of thousands of amperes. It converts grid AC voltage into the precise valve-side AC voltage required by thyristor or diode rectifier bridges, then supplies smooth DC output to the load. Integrated with Motor Starting Transformer functionality, it also supports reduced-voltage starting for large AC asynchronous motors—limiting inrush current to protect the power grid while maintaining the torque needed for heavy-load acceleration.
